16 weeks.....
It's insane that 16 weeks have gone by already...
The past 4 weeks have been a little tough since I pee all night and when you have to wake up at 3am to go to work, waking up to pee at 1am is NOT A GOOD THING... I have actually plead with the baby to please stay away from my bladder so I could get another 30 minute of sleep, but it doesn't work. Maybe she/he thinks my bladder is one of those Bounce things at Bounce U...
My making cake days are numbered since getting Felix's 7th birthday cake done was tough.
What is up with the NIGHTMARES.... I have done some research and apparently vivid dreams during pregnancy is normal... Seriously if people could stop killing me and chasing me in my dreams it will be great, I really need to sleep.
Drs appointment went well. The baby's heart beats fast and so far everything looks good... I only gained another 2.8lbs.. Not too bad for eating ice cream and cake :)
Next up:
Our 20 week ultrasound, and yes we are finding out if it's a BOY or GIRL. I can't carry a human for 9 months not knowing what it is!!!

Our 12 week visit
Our 12 week visit was awesome... We met with a genetic specialist who went over all the exciting testing they do when you have a baby at 35...
The ultrasound was fun but took a little longer than we planned since the baby was not behaving already... He/She refused to turn around, and show the doctor the neck area (that's the area they look at during this ultrasound). It took moving, coughing, peeing and moving some more to get it to cooperate... And when it finally did, the baby began doing something that looked like the 80's "Running man dance"... I think I have hung out too much with little Felix because the baby is a great dancer.
I only gained 2 additional pounds and the doctor gave me the green light to color my hair... (I was not allowing this baby to meet me with gray hair)
I have to consider myself lucky, in 12 weeks I have only felt tired but no vomiting at all... Yippy!!!

Mother's Day Surprise
So I wanted to share the baby news with Mom, Susy and Angie in a special way... so why not make them search for clues in Hershey Park on Mother's Day...
We also surprised Lucille and Michele by placing a baby doll we borrowed from the day care with a note saying I'M COMING ON DECEMBER 8th"

Thoughts at 8 weeks...
8 weeks down, 32 to go... It seems so far away but December will be here before I know it.
The past 8 weeks have overall been okay except that I could eat an entire Supermarket and still be hungry.
We had our 1st doctors appointment and everything looks good, the baby's heart beats really fast and it could be seen on the ultrasound... I asked the doctor about 90 questions, luckily she was cool with it. She wasn't too cool with the 18 pounds I already gained :(, she suggested I aim for another 20 from now till December. That will be tough with this appetite but I'll try.
Next up....
